I’ll be protecting you day and night

So don’t you worry sleep tight

I’ll make sure everything’s gonna be alright

Close your eyes, fall fast asleep

No monster, nor the dark will make you weep

I’ll be your Nightlight, 

Shining so bright,

Any glimpse of darkness will turn white

I’ll be your protector, with a sword and a shield

I’ll make sure your safety is tightly sealed

So sleep soundly and securely, 

You don’t have to worry,

You don’t have to fear,

The world is not stable, it has its ups and downs

Neither are the people around me.

But..

I can be stable in my world.

I see wonders in things and I can travel to other places,

Like Alice in a rabbit hole maybe?

Or Peter Pan in Neverland?

I get pushed here and there and waves come crashing in,

But I’ll ride those waves to cross the angry sea,

And take on the challenge like Captain Jack sparrow did.

“Ohana means family, & family means no one gets left behind”

Of course, I’ll take those who are precious to me,

Coz from them I gain my strength,

and with them I’m never alone.

Show me a Rose and I’ll get inspired,

Let me watch the clouds and I’ll dream.

Little kid, what are you doing all alone,

Standing over there on your own,

Don’t you know it’s a dangerous world out there?

Mister adult, I am no coward nor am I weak,

I may be small in size but I have a voice to speak,

As for danger even I have answers to seek,

Don’t you know you were once me too?

Little child, aren’t you scared of the great unknown,

Don’t you know monsters lurk around kids who stay all alone,

Can’t you see the shadows grow and gather everywhere?

Mister grown up, the unknown is only things that are new,

And the real monsters here right now are only two,

It’s the the gullibility in me and the doubt in you,

Can’t you see that all journeys need a start?

Son, I suggest you hurry home,

Find a shelter under your blanket and stay warm,

No use for a plastic sword its a battle that can’t be won,

How can u possibly survive in this warfare?

Sir, I suggest u face your monster and stop running away,

we are given challenges so we can grow all the way, 

A battle that can’t be won is a role u didn’t play,

How can u possibly be a man without trying?
